The final sequence has way too many logic holes (the Blu-ray interestingly included a darker original alternate ending that made much more sense), and the movie is a decidedly more compelling one during the Simon Says portion than afterwards, but this is still the second-best film in the Die Hard franchise. Hardly a moment of exposition is wasted (literally every little thing in this film is brought back and paid off at some point), great rapport between Jackson and Willis and a very memorable use of "Johnny Comes Marching Home" throughout the score. And (pleasantly like the first two films in this regard) a very memorable performance from the main villain. The final scenes leave a bit of a bad aftertaste upon finishing any rewatch, but this is otherwise always a fun ride of a film. ( ) ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
