Indlæser... Happy Birthday to You! (1959)af Dr. Seuss
![]() Ingen Der er ingen diskussionstråde på Snak om denne bog. Okay. Some of the rhymes are a bit of a stretch, and it gets weirdly existential at times. I do not have children, but I can’t help but wonder if this leads to some small measure of disappointment. The pleas for the child bit to feel guilty about all the money being spent also strikes me as vaguely off. ( ![]() My son loves rhyme books. We have read this many times, but yesterday, I read it as fast as my mouth could say the words, which, thanks to Suess, was really fast. What a pleasure! The rhythm of the text just drives the story forward at a happy gallop. Fun to read (even the 99th time). I love the pictures, especially the mustard-off pools! This book would be great in class to have students read for their birthday. This can make students feel special because it really specifies about the You. This is a great book to have students read the class on their birthdays! Dr. Seuss focuses his wording on You! which makes students feel special while reading! This was another great book by Dr. Seuss. I was excited to read this one because it was all about your birthday and being you. I loved how Dr. Seuss used his words in a way that was easy enough to understand and flowed very well. Like in all Dr. Seuss books, he was very clever with his wording. I also liked how it felt like I was almost watching a cartoon while I was reading. Dr. Seuss has a way of making his stories magical and making it actually feels like you on an adventure. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
