Lots of tasty-sounding and quick or at least approachable recipes in here make this seem like a very practical cookbook. More pictures would have been nice - it started out with several recipes in a row being preceded by photos, but these gradually fizzled out over the course of the book. There are several dishes I really would have liked to see an image of to help see how it comes together, like the Jell-O dessert with cream cheese topping.
