The book takes place in an animated fictional world based on an old traditional story of The Three little Pigs . The big bad wolf is the narrator with a lot to stay about the real truth of what happen that day the house got blown down . I would use the book to connect with my students when introducing progtaginst and antagonist. ( )

The perspective from the wolf of what happened with the three little pigs. A funny spinoff of the original story.

Funny and different. A second point-of-view. ( )

"Dead as a door nail." I read this book every year to my students. Talk about a story from a different perspective! Alexander T. Wolf is just misunderstood, is he really big and bad? You be the judge! This is a fun real aloud and skill work around point of view, perspective, persuasion, and fairy tales. ( )

This fun picture book puts a spin on the Three Little Pigs. According to the wolf this is the real story. The students will enjoy the twist and will have their own opinions on which story is the true tell. This book has fabulous pictures and is designed in a way to keep the reader engaged and waiting to turn the page to see what comes next and what the picture will be. This book can easily be incorporated into a fairy tale unit. There are several stories of the Three Little Pigs and they can all be read easily and then compared and contrasted. There is a lot that you can do with this book. One of the best things is to have students have conversations, share opinions, and then possibly go and write their own version of the same story and then publish and share out. This book can be a unit all by itself. This will definitely be a book that the students would enjoy hearing more than once and it will encourage readers to read several versions of classic tales.

Everybody knows the story of the Three Little Pigs. Or at least they think they do. But I'll let you in on a little secret. Nobody knows the real story, because nobody has ever heard my side of the story.

Hey, it's not my fault wolves eat cute little animals like bunnies and sheep and pigs...If cheeseburgers were cute, folks would probably think you were Big and Bad, too.
The real story is about a sneeze and a cup of sugar.
I don't know how this whole Big Bad Wolf thing got started, but it's all wrong
