Another winner. When the rabbit imagines he is as tall as a tree my son just smiles and smiles. ( )

In this cute story, a little white rabbit explores the environment around him and wonders all of the different possible things that he could be. When he makes it back home after a long day of wondering, he doesn't have to wonder about who loves him. ( )

This is a picture book about a little rabbit’s adventure. Magic things happened when the little white rabbit was hopping over grassland. When the little white rabbit think about “what if”, and it will come true. For example, when the little white rabbit was thinking about what if I was green? Then she turned to green! The rabbit had several experiences with changing color, size, movement, and pace. I suppose these experiences the little rabbit had would encourage readers to wonder what feels like in life, too. At the same time, this helps young readers to learn concepts about speed, still and move, color, and size. I especially love the pages after the little white rabbit wonders. The pages show the rabbit to be green, be large, be flying…and each of them occupy a whole page spread without word. It depicts a whole wonder world of the rabbit become green, big, or flying. Readers could have their own imagination and narration toward those pages. ( )

This book is straightforward and has nice, clean illustrations of a little white rabbit's journey as he realizes that anything is possible and that nothing is out of reach in his life. The book teaches young readers to imagine other possibilities, but also not to take for granted the immediate beauty already present in our lives. The little white rabbit wonders about many things in the world, but he knows one thing with certainty: he knows that his mother loves him. Another great book for a teacher to read to the class as youngsters follow along.
