This was not one of my favorite Laura Numeroff books, but it still was enjoyable to read. Her style of writing was a little different than the other books I have read by her. I usually read the, "if you give a..." books but this was not one of those books. In the "If you give a...." books, her writing is catchy and tends to rhyme a little but in this book, it was just straight forward writing. I definitely think this book could teach children a lot about friendship which I like. ( )

"Otis & Sydney," was a good book. It shows the friendship between two little friends. They would do anything to help each other. The story teaches children to be nice to each other and to help other people. The story shows how the friend throws a party for his best friend. He gives the invite out for the wrong date. It ends up only being the two best friends there. The story shows how they make the best of the day even though it is just the two of them. They story shows kids to make the best of each day. ( )

From the author of the Give A Mouse A Cookie series. Great illustrations. The story was a cute one about freindship - but just okay...not great. ( )

This is a sweet children's book about friendship! I like how Otis and Sydney had common interests, but also different talents that they shared with each other. Otis did a cute job of thinking on his feet about the birthday party, a good thing to model for children. ( )

Otis and Sydney are best Friends, and Otis wants to make his friend’s birthday very special this time. He decides to throw Sydney a surprise party with tons of fun planned. However, Otis makes a mistake on the invitations and none of their friends show but, this does not stop Sydney from having the best birthday ever! ( )
