I read this in the "Warriors" anthology years ago and enjoyed it then as now. You might know it better as "Lord John and the Trouble with Eels." Just joking. In the end, you find out the truth about Lord Grey, John's father. (

Quite short. Seeing a bit about the French and American Indians in Canada was interesting though. (

Another lord john book I wasn't all that into :( for me it just felt like DG had come across some interesting facts to put into a story so built a story around them. (

Enjoyable reading, as other books by Ms Gabaldon, this one is a catchy one and a help to get to know better the wonderful character John Grey. Highly recommended (
