A young girl describes her life of being adopted in a very positive and inspirational way. She recognizes that although many children look like their parents, not all families look alike. "Families are formed in different ways." Even though her mom and dad are not her biological parents, they love her more than anything and waited for her for a very long time. I love the way that this story portrays adoption. Many fear that children will have a very hard time accepting adoption; this story could truly help those situations. Family is forever because love is forever. ( )
