Although it starts out without any real hope for the main character, this quickly turned into a really fun Christmas story with a little bit of magic and lots of humor.

Ben is pretty hopeless at keeping down a job after losing his chances at playing baseball professionally due to a knee injury. When his boyfriend of two years, Kai, dumps him, all he can think of is how to get him back. He needs money for a big gift and accpets a job as a nude male model. Even when it becomes clear that he's very attracted to Gavin, the photographer, he continues trying to fix things with Kai.

I liked the light humor in the form of the 'unlikely Santa' as well as the twist to what Ben thinks he wants and what he ends up getting. Very nice, this story left me with a smile. ( )
