- The Radish is a space run collectively on donations and volunteer effort. It's meant to serve as a radical infoshop ( www.infoshop.org ) /community center/meeting space/resource center/communal living space/etc. Our recent projects have included Folk Corner and free tea kitchen at Art Walk, a Free Store (notice a theme here?) which we're currently building a geodesic dome for, a lending library, a children's space, and most recently a bicycle project. Our official mission statement says that we exist "to educate and agitate towards a world free of all forms of oppression and exploitation" If you'd like you can check out our blog at radishinfoshop.blogspot.com or come by the space at 818 w. College st. about four blocks west of the square. Our official open hours are on Sunday from 1-9 but we're unofficially kinda open whenever someone is around.
