- The Smyrna Public Library is the oldest city operated library in the state of Georgia and has provided service to the residents of Smyrna for seventy years. Among the resources that are available include reference service, free internet access, voter registration and wi-fi hotspot access. Materials that are available include books, audiobooks on tape and cd, videotapes and dvds. The reference collection has grown to over 10,000 volumes with emphases on genealogy and military history.
Library cards are free for City of Smyrna residents, property holders and business owners. Cards may be obtained by furnishing a photo ID and proof of residence, ownership of property in Smyrna, or a current business license. Non-residents are also eligible to obtain a library card by paying an annual fee of $40.00 for an individual or $60.00 for a family non-resident card (up to four members per family). - Added By
