Dayton has two Books & Co. locations. #309 is the original. It has the feel of an independent store (though owned by Books-A-Million). The staff is very helpful and the coffee shop is nice. To use the wifi you must be a member. There's a bike rack at the rear entrance.

Note: This facility ceased to operate as a Books & Co. in July 2011. It reopened in August 2011 as a 2nd & Charles, Books-A-Million's used bookstore chain.
