This bookstore was founded by my grandparents back in the 1960s, in two stores at different locations. My sister and I both went there when we were little kids, and clearly caught the bookselling infection, as she is now in the book trade and I'm a librarian. Our grandparents retired in 1976, and the store moved to its final location at the Baker House in 1982.
