Each year, the Friends of the Tompkins County Public Library holds two book sales, one in the Spring and another in the Fall, to benefit organizations working for literacy in Tompkins County. Our special partners in this are Tompkins County Public Library (TCPL) and the Finger Lakes Library System (FLLS).
The number of items available for each sale usually exceeds 250,000. Books, audio books, CDs, DVDs, records, puzzles, and games are items found at the Book Sales. Children's Corner is especially well-stocked and Collector's Corner is a separate area housing many unique items of special interest which are priced individually.
