I'm a student teacher and I've got an advanced reader in my class, he sits there reading Moby Dick.
Here's what he's listed as his favourite books:
He likes: 1984, Animal Farm, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, Moby-Dick (he's reading that now in class), Catch 22, Lord of the Flies, Farenheit 451, Brave New World, The Road and No Country for Old Men.
He also loves history.
What else would he love? Considering that he's 12 and I can't really recommend anything that's 'adult'.
