i got a subscription to The Review of Contemporary Fiction for my birthday a few months ago and have been very excited about the "special fiction issue"...does anyone else subscribe or know about it? they took this abridgment called Moby-Dick in Half the Time and pretty much made the opposite of that specific cutting, taking exactly what was not published in that version (even up to stray bits of punctuation) and only publishing that...i finally just got around to reading Moby-Dick itself (which is one amazing book...i'd avoided it for a long time, then i'd merely just put off reading it...now i'm glad i did) so hopefully i can get around to reading ;or The Whale soon...
