New Here, how do i?

How do I look at any of the books to see if I wish to purchase? Also how do I share the books that I own. I have been a knitter for over 40 years now. I have designed and sold patterns and sweaters. My name is Lissa Ammann. I hope that someone will share their knowledge and books with me. Thanks in advance.

Well, first thing is to add your own books. Theres an add book tab 4 from the left side. Just punch in a ISBN or title, and your book should show up. Use Tags to categorize your books.

The search tab is a little tricky to find. Its way on the right side, simply called search.

You can search by title, author, or even see how other Librarything Users tag books. Or, my other favorite thing to do, is start with one of your books. Then follow the suggested books, who also has it to other books you might not have. Also, don't forget to add interesting members to your list, you can get lots of suggestions by watching what they add and how they feel about certain books.

Librarything is complicated, but its also intuitive. Once you figure out what you are doing, things just make sense.

I also suggest turning off the "talk like a pirate" Its fun, but makes learning the site a lot harder. :)
