Includes works discussing objects/materials/technique from a craft (as opposed to fine art) viewpoint. Place books on non-professional fine art and photography under ART.

One possible way to split this up would be by material

Mixed materials
Fiber
Paper
Clay and other modeling compounds
Botanicals
Metal
Glass and gemstones

Or maybe not. This leaves jewelry making and beading spread all over the place ...

I disagree. If you are discussing TECHNIQUES, I think it should be under CRAFTS & HOBBIES. Why separate out painting, sculpture and photography techniques as a "fine" art and the rest as "not fine"? ART should only be books on Art History, Art Criticism, and picture books of art itself. If it is a book on Lalique glass, Tiffany jewelry or Fabrege eggs it should be in the ART section and not crafts just becasue of technique.

how would you classify design programs? InDesign, photoshop and Illustrator all get used for crafts and hobbies--and photography, but the books might be viewed as technical manuals.
