Back in the 70's my sister read a short, short story in her classroom's reading comprehension box, you know the ones with the different color levels of blue, violet, goldenrod... Anyway, she read a great, spooky, little story the punchline of which was blood-red, bone-hard blisters. I've posted this around different groups, haven't had any luck. Would love to surprise with the author's name! Thanks.
