I woke up to hear news of Humph's passing on this morning's "Today" programme. A very sad day for Radio 4 fans, ISIHAC is truly a jewel in its crown.
Humph is irreplaceable. Apparently Rob Brydon deputised for him at a stage version of the show when he went into hospital earlier this week. That must have been bizarre.
As the jazz trumpet of time blows the final reveille of laughter, I guess that's the end of the show. Goodbye, Humph, you will be greatly missed
