The Wolfe Pack

I am relatively new to this site so if this is a topic that has been discussed previously, my apologies.

I have visited another site called The Wolfe Pack. It is a site dedicated to Nero Wolfe (I think based in NYC) and where i get all my info regarding the corpus.

I noticed, in another thread, there was a discussion of which stories came, in which order. I have been using this list:

I like this list as it shows the novellas and short stories in each trilogy, etc.

Does anyone know of this other site/group? Or belong to it?

Are there any errors in this chronological list?

Stout is my favorite author and Wolfe stories never get old to me. I can literally read the entire corpus and go right back and start again (I don't, but could).

BTW, this is a great group. I often post on The Golf Channel and the Internet Movie DataBase and although they are both great sites, the people are often nasty and difficult. From what I have seen here, this is a far better class of people!

It's nice to have you here Moovyz, and you have stumbled into one of the more civilized and kind groups here. There are plenty on LibraryThing, though a few stinkers too. :)

Hello, I recently discovered this discussion group and will add it to the LINKS page at www.nerowolfe.org as soon as possible. I am the webmaster of The Wolfe pack. We have 800+ pages about the Nero Wolfe saga, including Rex Stout, the Wolfe Pack group itself, the Nero Wolfe books and book cover art, the A&E TV Series, a Tingley's Tidbits section of miscellaneous info (e.g., orchids, browns stones, vocabulary), etc.

To my knowledge the Corpus listing of Nero Wolfe books and other books by and about Rex Stout is accurate. There are also listings of alternate titles, magazine publications of some of the stories, etc.

I hope you will take the time to explore the site. All suggestions for new pages or corrections are always welcome. Reader contributions are welcome, although we do not post pastiches at this time.

Even if you are not in the New York metro area, the Wolfe Pack is worth joining at $35 for 2 years and four issues of The Gazette, a really wondeful bi-annual compendium of Wolfean lore.

I used the list at nerowolfe.org to complete my collection of the Wolfe books. After reading several many years ago, and after participating here, I acquired the remaining books and read them all during 2006 - 2007. It was great fun and always enjoy the coversation here.

hennessey - Glad you found us, your site is delectable! I especially enjoyed the photo of Jerry Lewis portraying Wolfe and the other detectives. :)
