Skipping Confirmation Screen?

Good Morning All,
I see a few references to a blog post (link is broken everywhere), which I found the slow way. It shows a checkbox to skip the confirmation screen which I don't have and can't find. My barcode scanner is a nice improvement, but I didn't buy it expecting I'd have to stop and click a link for every barcode. Isn't there some way to skip it still?
