Hello!
I write suspense that features strong women whose lives have been upturned by crime. The Compass Crimes Series has three books published so far with the fourth in development. I read many genres, but prefer mystery, thriller, and suspense.

I'm M.W. Arita. I write Young Adult and Middle Grade Fantasy (Epic and Urban), Paranormal Romance, Supernatural Thrillers, and Science Fiction. All my stories and series are part of a shared universe with characters and events crossing over frequently. I was born and raised in the Midwest but currently live in southern Japan. I'm obsessed with mythology and fantasy creatures of all kinds, so anything you can name (vampires, werewolves, dragons, etc.) will pop up in my stories at some point.
