Hi, how do you pick the right author for a book when there are several authors with the same name?
IE I am trying to add The Last of Sir Lancelot, written by Richard Gordon, but there are several authors by that name.
So, how do I edit my entry to credit the title to the proper Richard Gordon?

You don't edit your entry. Your entry just says Gordon, Richard.
On the disambiguation page for Richard Gordon you see if you can figure out which Richard Gordon wrote your book. On the right, you go to Author division. Click on edit the division, and you can find the book and change which split it belongs in.
In Google books I found a blurb telling me which Richard Gordon wrote this book, so I did the division, so when you click on the author in your entry you should now be taken directly to the correct page. I suggest that you look at the disambiguation page and see how it works so next time you're ready to do it.
