Seconded. I've just finished Annapurna, which has given me far more of an appreciation of what amazing feats these men achieved. It's simply mindboggling and he was a great man.

The Ice axe arch is a nice touch, which I've only seen before at weddings. The cavers equivalent of a muddy boot isn't normally quite so appreciated.
