Just about to head off into Scotland with M C Beaton's Death of a Scriptwriter, what could be more blissful than a visit to Lochdubh. Now I wonder if my life insurance is up to date!

I'm in Soda Springs Idaho at a fertilizer plant and one of the workers has been seriously injured. It's The Cyanide Canary by Robert Dugoni and Joseph Hilldorfer. This is a non-fiction book that I picked up by mistake. It was the only one I could find on audio at my library by Dugoni. I was looking for fiction and didn't notice it was non-fiction. Well, it's not bad so far so I'll continue with it.

I'm in New York with a detective that might be in over his head before he even gets started. The detective, Carson Ryder's psychotic brother has just escaped from the insane asylum and leading police (and Carson) on a dangerous chase. Blood Brothers Jack Kerley

Still on my early November World Tour and visited France, Italy and Greece so far in the first third of The Babylon Idol by Scott Mariani, and something tells me I might clock up more countries yet in this one! I do love a good Ben Hope book.

I'm in Minnesota with Virgil Flowers investing an accidental death that my turn out to be murder as the dead lady has been found frozen in a block of ice and floating down the Mississippi River. She was left dead at the foot of the stairs in her house. Something tells me something is "rotten in Denmark". Deep Freeze/John Sandford

>17 Andrew-theQM: That was...and remains... the only Agatha Christie book I have ever liked. It's on DVD also but if you have read the book then you know how it turns out on the DVD....but it's still worth watching.

I was just watching a news program this morning where they were interviewing Agatha Chriatie's grandson. They just recently found a lot of papers of hers that contained stories that she had started but just put aside for some reason and never finished. He's trying to decide if he wants to find someone to try to finish them or maybe publish them as is and let people "finish" them in their own heads. His son says he should just put them in a safe place and keep them in the family. I think I agree with his son.

>18 Carol420: I agree, it could diminish her memory. Think there is also a full film version of And Then There Were None on YouTube which I might check out at some point.
