I own some spice stores in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region. At our store in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, we have started a cookbook lending library. The library is completely free to any of our guests or customers. Anytime you have cookbooks or related ephemera that you would like to get rid of, please let us know. The response we've had so far has been great. I'm new here so I hope this post doesn't break any rules.

>1 ColonelDe: So, why is your library private? I went to your profile looking to see what remarkable cookbooks you had, and was disappointed to see that there was almost nothing in your profile besides location.

A lending library is a great idea for a spice store!

>4 ColonelDe: I'm glad that I pointed out that your library was private, since it looks like some interesting choices. Are you offering to pay for postage for donations? I suspect not, but I'm still asking.

Good question. I hadn't thought of that. I think if they were interesting titles, why not. We spend a crazy amount on shipping anyway.
