Stromatolites, at 3.7 billion years old in Greenland. Zircons perhaps older than 4 billion years have been reported previously to contain possible "signatures" of life, but the current finds are actual fossils. Of course not everyone is on board with the interpretation...
Either way, life appears to have happened pretty fast, almost as fast as a cooling Earth might have permitted.
