Hi. Looking for a book I read in the late 80's, the main character was Called "Strawberry" based on her hair color strawberry blonde. When she was young her Dad was abusive Drunk! She ran out of her house to escape him, and got gang raped by her brothers friends that beat her and put a bag over her head sayg she was too ugly to look at during! And Yes, brother Allowed it to happen! He was there! After she ran away! Got a job at hair Salon! They nicknamed her Strawberry because her hair was a beautiful color ppl paid lots to get! She ends up becoming very famous high demand fashion model! Her brother suffered w guilt! And in the end, I don't remember, if he was a fashion photographer, or if she took photography, but I think he was cuz that's how they meet again! Also fuzzy if she allowed him to commit suicide in the end! I thot it was called Red! Or Red lipstick! Thot there was red lipstick on cover, but I've had No Luck finding it! All help welcomed! TY!
