Pictures of Hunchback of Notre Dame DLE

Here are 22 pictures of the glorious EP Hunchback of Notre Dame DLE by Victor Hugo (Routledge 1888); there are nearly 200 illustrations. This is long out of print but newly discovered copies still exist at the Danbury Mint UK for $308 as of today; note the original retail price was $400. If you do not have a UK friend to take delivery OrenUK on this forum will assist you. It is a glorious work which goes right next to your other Dumas and Hugo DLEs. For those not aware of the significance of this work, Hugo is credited with saving and preserving Notre Dame with this treatise on Gothic architecture; the Hunchback story is almost secondary to the goals of this novel. Please also consider getting the small Folio Society companion book Chartres - The Making of a Miracle and Henry Adams - Saint-Michel and Chartres (Franklin Library) - which both discuss Notre Dame.

Looks great! Everything looks clear and crisp based on the photos. You've mentioned that there's a minor flaw in the book in another thread, what is it?
