Today I learned of the existence of a digitized collection of art posters held by the New York Public Library. The holdings digitized so far belong to the late 19th and early 20th century. Among them are many advertising either magazines (frequently with fiction) or books. Here are a few examples:

Pony Tracks, by Frederic Remington

The Century Cook Book, by Mary Ronald

There are many more — apparently more than 2,000 already.

Here's where you can find them: http://digitalcollections.nypl.org/collections/turn-of-the-century-posters#/?tab...
