I have ordered After London from biblio.com via addall.com. I found a later printing of the 1929 Everyman Edition with a decent binding and dust jacket in mylar cover for only 18$. There is another story attached to this one in the same volume called Amaryllis at the Fair with an introduction to both by David Garnett. I am interested to see how long it takes to get up here to Alaska since.

Yes, so my 1929 edition was actually supposed to be a 1939 edition, but the one I ended up with was from 1948. Oh well, it's still a cool old book. Anyway, I just got it in the mail yesterday on Sept 7th. At 197 pages for After London with a small font and weak paper. I think I am going to go ahead and get started on it. Another work that has recently come out is called World Without Us by Alan Weisman which sounds similiar to the beginning of After London. I heard about it on NPR this morning.

Cool. I'm just finishing up another book and them I'm going to start After London, too. I think it'll just be the two of us for the first book and maybe Tom or others will join for later books.
