Are you able to get combined shipping? If I were to get two LoA books a month, would I be charged twice?

From personal experience, if you are a subscriber and order the volumes from the subscriber pages in LOA's web site, shipping is free as a matter of course. You get the slip-cased editions sans dustcovers if the volumes are part of the main series. Main series volumes are currently $25.98 per volume; non-series volume prices vary. If you order multiple volumes in one transaction, they will ship together in the same package. Periodically, mail offers are sent to subscribers, too, that offer free shipping.

Otherwise, getting volumes automatically shipped to you via a subscription has thus far always been one volume at a time, and shipping charges are included.

I don't have experience ordering LOA volumes as a non-subscriber, but I believe that main series volumes will have dustcovers, and slip-cases are not available. Multi-book transactions will probably ship in one package, and shipping charges will be included. As for price, the volumes cost more than for subscribers. Comparing prices from other sources is advised.

This is all for shipments in the U.S. I don't know what the policy is for international orders, though I'm guessing that it may be different.

I see, so as a subscriber any book I get from the subscriber store had free shipping?

Yes, here in Australia, we pay shipping on every book sent out in the subscription list.
Fortunately, David has organised subscribers, especially international ones, to make long term postponement of receiving regular books but yet remain subscribers, enabling us to buy slipcase editions when we bulk order to maximise shipping economies of scale.

It works very well.

NB If the LOA decided to post out international subscriptions with free shipping, I would revert to the standard model without any hesitation.
