I've just learned that Paul Spencer has passed away. Here is his obituary: http://www.sentinelsource.com/news/obituaries/paul-h-spencer/article_b855e534-0f... .
Paul was held in high regard in fantasy and sf circles. Along with his Cabell work he was especially known for his work on the writing of David H. Keller.
The Silver Stallion website just recently published an interview with Paul http://www.silverstallion.karkeeweb.com/kalki_archives/spencer.html , along with reprints of several of his Kalki articles http://www.silverstallion.karkeeweb.com/kalki_archives.html .

He was also a Shakespeare scholar and bibliographer, and a student of Lawrence Durrell, Christopher Marlowe, Sir Philip Sidney, and others...
