I want to get a CueCat but was wondering if the USB version works well on Windows 7. I was unable to find a clear answer to this with Google search.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I've had no problem with it on W7.

Yep, works fine. Note that mine's modified, and I haven't had an unmodified one since I got a Win7 computer so couldn't check that. But I don't see any reason why it wouldn't.

I have had this thing since I joined LibraryThing, and it has never worked for me with any computer. I read here, and I still cannot use it. I feel like I got sold a piece of junk. I was going to throw it out, but i thought I would try reading here one more time, and I keep doing what it says to do but to no avail. I wonder if I just got one that did not work.

Want to give some details? I've walked some people through it before, and gotten them to function - also discovered some that simply don't function, there are broken ones. Which Tim will replace...though maybe not after 6 years.
First step - when you plug it in, is there a red light in the nose? It should be solidly on, and then after a while (a minute or two) start to blink. If there's no red light, yeah, it's broken.
