Assuming that #2 is actually Feb 20-Mar 1, and that #3 is really Mar 2-Mar 5, I have voted yes to all of them.

Hi there, I would like to start ASAP or whenever it is best for everyone. Being new to this whole thing, what is the procedure?

Michele, we'll pick a week and then post the thread and the timezones. Check the group and you'll see what things looked like back in December when we did the last ReadAThing.

I voted against the last one - that weekend is when DST comes in. Time zones are difficult enough without dealing with shifts as well...

The other three all work for me. Wednesday to Tuesday, each one, right?

yes, wednesday through tuesday

I agree with jjm about daylight savings, so voted "No" for the one that includes March 10th.
Went for undecided on the first one, only because Feb. 13 is Ash Wednesday, so I'll be busy with church and not able to help much with the kickoff . . . but I'm guessing you could handle that without me :)

I hope this will bump and we can get more votes . . .

Just BTW, the SOTT often comes out around the 20th or so . . . if we want to get into that, we may need to either act soon or adjust our dates . . . and let Jeremy know either way.

Thanks majika for handling this part. I'm still trying to minimize my computing (recovering from whiplash) but am much better than a couple of weeks ago.

Glad to hear that you are recovering, Lucinda!

> 14 / 16: Good point, so I changed my vote for that period to "no". That still doesn't mean I wouldn't participate though.

> 16: Good to hear you're getting better but be sure not to rush things.

I just have a question before I'll leave for holiday next friday: Is the readathing week already fixed? Well, I'll read anyway also in my holiday but it would be nice to know it, so that I'm able to fix my time slots. Sorry, I'm not much help in organizing but I'll fill as much as possible into the time slots.
Thanks a lot for updating me :-)

Looks like no decision has been reached . . . And I'm "internet fasting" for Lent (and still recovering) . . . so will leave this to the rest of you. Will only be minimally present on LT until April . . . and then LT will have the baseball season to compete with. JJ & Majkia, do feel free to email me if you need any old files to modify, etc. I'll be checking email more frequently than LT.

Sorry this RaT didn't go anywhere . . .
