I need this challenge. I have approximately 2000 unread books in my house. I have a bit of a book hoarding issue. My goal is to read 50 of them this year. We shall see how I do.

Gee, and I thought I was bad... I didn't mean that.
Good luck on reading your books and reducing your total!

I suddenly feel a lot less guilty about my reading mountain ;) Seriously, though, what a wonderful problem to have!

I'm happy to be everyone's bad influence :)

Don't feel bad, we all have the same problem in some degree. I feel much better about my "inventory" now that I think of choosing a book for this challenge as shopping from my shelves.

Thanks. I discovered the issue is my laptop. On my desktop I can see it. Oddly, I can see everyone else's ticker on the laptop- just not my own.
