I use my Kindle for PC almost exclusively for free public domain "classic" authors in English or translation obtained primarily from Amazon. You know, the authors that I should have read in school or are on all the "100 All-Time Best Lists." Currently, I have about 60 titles and they come with a kind of generic cover.
Several questions have arisen as I try to tweak how the cover art is displayed in both my Kindle and my LT account.
1. Can I use any cover associated with the title as long as I am able to "capture" it with the "Change Cover" function? The titles were added to LT using Amazon's ASIN number and not ISBN. I know that the cover choice is associated with the ISBN and can be problematic for the purist. Does LT have a strict policy on this? I can't seem to find this topic addressed anywhere in LT
2. In the right-hand column of the "Change Cover" page is a link for covers of Kindle titles but it won't let me capture one of those. This would be the perfect solution if I could.
3. Is there any way of creating a page of author photos associated with just the titles I am reading on the Kindle for PC?
Any comments or advice would be most appreciated.

You are free to use any image you choose as cover picture for your 'copy'. If you use an Amazon cover it will change if Amazon associates another image with the ISBN - I think I've got that right!
The Kindle covers are new to me (and very welcome). It looks as if you can right click on the image, save it in your pictures and then upload it to the book page.
ETA - there is discussion of the problems with Amazon covers here: http://www.librarything.com/topic/137977
