Like it? Hate it? Indifferent? Any (virtual) throwing of books at the wall? Or did you feel compelled to read everything the author has written?

An interesting book. I liked Mercy, and her personal backstory was very interesting. I liked the idea that her parents went off on a quest, and I'm curious about what happened to them. Shadow was interesting too. She managed not to fall into the "I am a magical ninja, I have no flaws" trap.

As ever, in a plot with Norse Gods, it all boils down to "Don't Trust Loki". Seriously, why? Why do people keep doing that? :-D

I finally got around to reading Worldsoul this week. (I had started it before, but the ereader font put me off it. Different font this time, and everything was fine...)

I am intrigued by the concept of the Library and the World. Mercy was an interesting main character, as was Shadow. And I was left wanting more. Like who/what are the Skein. What's up with the Barquess? Note to self: Buy Sequel.

>2 Hatgirl:

Isn't part of Loki's Trickster-ness that people trust him while knowing that they shouldn't trust him?
