I came across this writ for Gene:
A Georgian by name of Gene
found bass in his pond obscene
he fashioned a hook
and dangled a book
and captured a perch epicene
Their talk wanders theme to theme
like mirrors or fish in a dream
the occasional bass
flips them off with his ass
for the piscine a sign of esteem
and recalled recents wonderings about Peter W and EEF, as well as Gene
