#6 Are you sure that it was Genghis Khan and not a mythical warrior who believed what could bring the greatest happiness involved the grief of women? I can't find the saying anywhere that is was Ghenghis, but I find it attributed to Conan. "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women."
However, I do believe you latched onto the word--lament.
