Hi i just joined. I purchased a kindle 3 not long ago and love it! The only problem i am having is updating it. It won't update and not sure why. Any suggestions please? Thanks

Make sure that you have your 3g or wifi turned on, then make sure you have a connection showing on the home page.

Are you talking about software updates? If you let Amazon do it, it could take a couple of weeks until they push it to your kindle. In that case, just turn on the 3g/wifi on for 15 minutes each day and see what happens. If you do it manually, that's a different story. Then you can download the update yourself and install.
