I bought the CueCat for use as a classroom teacher - it is so great for cataloging my many books and I think the kids will really like my library thing site. I had been thinking that in order for a student to sign out a book, they could learn to scan the barcodes themselves...but I am under the impression from exploring around that I can ONLY scan a barcode in the "add books" section in order for it to be recognized as a title. I tried scanning a barcode into the "search" bar and it couldn't produce a title for me. Is there any way to search for books already entered into my library using the scanner, or is it solely for use in adding books? Thanks!
