I just finished reading John Grisham's The Confession and was impressed by how Christian it was. I've read nearly all his books (nothing to brag about, I know) and he's long had a Christian streak but in this book he doesn't hide his admiration for liberal Christianity.

I don't want to oversell the book but it is nice to read a popular book that has portrays a liberal/mainstream pastor in a good light.

Thank-you, alfredd, for this post: I've been looking for an excuse to finally read a book by John Grisham :)

P.S. I'm a new person here at LT and still haven't figured out this Touchstones thing: is that how the author and title in your post came to be highlighted? What did you do to make it so? Sorry for such a general question, but am really dazzled and dazed by the depth and breadth of this site.

Welcome Khrystyna. For touchstones, put single square brackets around the title and double square brackets around the author. You should see instructions and examples of touchstones just to the right of the message box.
