Am I going crazy?
It used to be that when you edited the books you add to LT, there was a spot where you could add the BookCrossing number. It looks like the layout of the edit page has been moved around - was the space for the BookCrossing number removed? I don't see it!

I don't see it on the "edit" page, but it's still on the "details" page. You can edit it from the "your books" tab if you use the BCID as one of the parameters to show up. I'm going to go complain about it's disappearance from the edit page, though. :(

I just found it. Sadly, it's on the bottom where it says "allow extra fields" or "show extra fields". Click on that.*
*ETA: However, you will not find it there if you are not in the BETA group. I'd suggest to wait awhile until Tim releases this new feature. It should return in some form or other on the edit page.

I don't like where it is, and I don't like that one has to click on it to open it up every time a new entry is made. There are no other such fields to click on for that "edit book" page.
This change has to do with Tim adding new fields to that page. The BETA group is working with those fields now.
*very unhappy*

My feeling is that not everyone who uses LT s a full time librarian. Some of use just like to use this site for fun. :(

True, but I'll bet there are more librarians on the site than there are BookCrossers.
That said, I do think it would be helpful if we could choose which fields remain open. Of course, I'm not a programmer, so I have no idea what intricacies that might entail

I didn't know there was such a feature! And who is in the BETA group? Since I don't know what that is, does that mean I'm not part of it??
