Wow, SusieBookworm that's a great list. I did classify Lord of the Flies as a dystoia since the boys are stuck on an Island somewhere in the Pacific durig WWII and there's no adult supervision and the boys are left to survive the best way they can on their own even though they do set up some form a Tribal Society. I have more dystopias than utopias.

I put my dystopian/ post-apocalyptic books together because there is overlap and a concrete definition of each is hard to pin down.

I put them in this catagory if they seem to fit these criteria: everything is about to go, is going, or has gone to hell.
