Looks like they may have changed their name to "The Great Courses"? I sent in an order yesterday and that's who they wanted the check made out to.

They've used "Great Courses" alternately with Teaching Company for years. It does look like they are now simply "Great Courses" But ... you mailed a check? Buy online. Easier. Plus you find out the latest deals. Remember: never purchase except when the course is on sale and all courses go on sale at least twice a year.

Thanks. I do make sure I get the sale price. My husband was an Internet Security Guru when he was working and we keep our online purchasing down to a minimum. The new security features in Mozilla help, but I'm still pretty hesitant (and I like the Post Office).

I run a computer company. The key is good security software: I recommend Vipre from Sunbelt Software -- avoid all the stuff everybody says is great (AVG, Norton, McAfee) cuz they're not. Use PayPal for vendors who don't trust. Use a credit card (not your debit card) when purchasing. Online purchases are today much safer than using a credit card in the mall or over he phone where you are actually giving someone all of your credit card info.
But there is something to be said about the post office! Love those Great Courses! They are wonderful, no matter how you order!
