What are your favorite authors and novels of the 18th and 19th Century? And when I say this, I mean novels written in the 18th and 19th, not just ones that take place there. And I'm talking Britain of course. :)

I'm pretty boring and pedestrian in my 18th and 19th century lasts.
So far I've not read much from the 18th century that I've liked. Candide perhaps, but that's French.
For the 18th century, I like all the usual ones -- Jane Austen, the Brontes, Dickens, Elizabeth Gaskell, Thomas Hardy, Tolstoy, Henry James, Oscar Wilde.
Favourite books include Mansfield Park, Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, Bleak House, Tess, Portrait of a Lady, and Anna Karenina.
