Most of my studies centred around the obvious English Classics and I still adore them. In the last few years I've developed a love for more recent writers and lately I seem to be drawn to American authors.

Basically, I'll read absolutely anything. And without shame.

I studied English Literature for six years and am happily continuing to ruin my eyesight by reading anything I can find.

I'm an EFL Teacher (English as a Foreign Language) working in London. Great job, loads of fun and lovely to mix with so many different people who use langauge in such a creative way. Sometimes unintentionally hilarious too! However, at the moment I'm working on getting out of the teaching and getting into costume design.

I love words. I think language is incredible and the most amazing invention/evolutionary quirk produced by the human race. I better stop here because if I think about this too much, I'll do my head in and sound like some kind I twit.

If I had a choice I'd happily sit around reading and doing crosswords all day.
