Most of the history books have been merged into https://www.librarything.com/profile/challe, and most of the professional/professorial library has been discarded in moves. This is the dregs (or the cream?) of those technical books, with a smattering of favorite fiction (science fiction, fantasy) and hobby books (computer games, early music, history, historical swordplay, roleplaying) thrown in.

Books that rate 4.5 stars changed the way I work;
those that rate 3.5 stars are good enough to assign as a textbook.
